Budapest by Night

It always strikes me how a city like Prague wears its age so well with the black, sooty towers of the Charles Bridge. By contrast, Budapest is a bright and shiny gem, with clean white buildings designed with Hapsburg architecture. But by night, thousands of white lights decorate the bridges and buildings, reminding me of Cinderella all dressed up for the ball.

Walking the streets at night is very safe (just use the same precautions you would anywhere), so be sure to get out to visit Budapest’s quirky pubs and see these amazing sights:

Walk the Chain Bridge

See Parliament

Go to Buda Castle and view the scenery
